Carolina Kite Club
The Carolina Kite Club provides fun and entertainment for all. Join
us on Sunday mornings and fly your kites or just come out to enjoy the sights. Kite
flyers of all ages and skill levels are welcome! Kite experts are always on-hand to
answer questions on the latest kite flying tips and techniques. Flys are held
year-round (weather permitting) at two locations.

Directions - Fort Macon is located at the east end of Bogue Banks island in
Atlantic Beach. Take Route #58 East (Fort Macon Road) to the end of the
island. Park in the last parking lot (at the Fort). We fly on the beach
down near the rock jetty.
| Atlantic Beach Night Fly - Wednesdays - Triple S Pier
(June thru August)
| At approximately 8:30 PM (when it gets dark) many of our flyers get
together at the Triple S pier and attach various forms of lighting to
their kites. You cannot even imagine this sight. lighted kites dancing
in the sky! |
